John Dennison

Guitar
After spending some time working the bars and clubs of Wolfsburg John recently returned to Scotland to pursue other ventures. He quickly became acquainted with Craig and went on to perform guitar on various songs including ‘Brown Eyes’, ‘Lonely Hearts Made of Fire’ and ‘Black & Blue’. He likes Japanese culture, John Le Carre novels and Classic Rock.

Danny Pegg Legg

Bass
Danny is a giant of a bass player both in terms of technique and sheer physical size. Standing at an incredible 6ft 9” Danny towers above the rest of the band. Danny is from Brighton and moved to Glasgow last summer to be with his beloved and re-engage with his musical ambitions.

Dougie Stirling

Drums & Backing Vocals
Dougie is a Drummer & Vocalist from Motherwell, Lanarkshire. Hes played with Agnes Green on her ‘Gypsy Sister’ album, and also Cowdenbeath pop rockers ‘Pip Pap’. He calls himself a ‘feel’ drummer, whatever that is?! His aim for 2012 is to grow a beard and go to see his beloved Motherwell FC more often.

Greg Barnes

Keys & Percussion
Greg Barnes is a freelance musician based near Glasgow, with a BA in Commercial Music and over 15 years of gigging experience. Currently I am providing keyboards, organ, percussion acoustic and electric guitar as well as backing vocals to various artists. Musical influences include Ben Folds – The Beatles – Stevie Wonder – Paul Weller.

So at my last gig i was giving away some FREE CDs, did you get yours?
I thought it would be a good idea to give you something to take away with you.
It had 6 songs on it, took me a while to choose which 6 to put on it as i am incredibly indecisive when it comes to choosing songs. If you got one i hope you found something on it you like :-)

So, after a few months of rehearsals we were ready to start gigging. Most of us hadnt played King Tuts before so when I was offered it we jumped at it. I had always kept an eye on who was playing at King Tuts so was proper chuffed to get a chance to play myself.

The night itself was great, could really feel the history in the place and the writing on the stairs reminded us of the many big names to have graced the place previously. All this helped to make the gig feel that extra bit special.

We were second on after the great Jay Ingram from Dumfries who played an acoustic set. His voice is great, check him out here. We played for around half an hour, 7 songs and had a great time!
